World Cardmaking Day: Meet the Demonstrators: Eileen Hull

It’s less than 24 hours now until our World Cardmaking Day event begins!  Can you feel the excitement in the air?  It’s going to be one fantastic weekend!

Meet Eileen Hull!  Eileen says:  I grew up in a large family where there was always an art project in the works.  Creative thinking was encouraged at an early age and for that I am eternally grateful.

Designing dies for Sizzix is my dream job because I love creating three dimensional projects. I found out that books, folders and boxes were easy to make from all of my leftover matboard scraps but the problem was getting an accurate and consistent cut.

I approached Sizzix with the idea of making a die that could cut and score thicker material like matboard and chipboard. And so ScoreBoards™ dies came to be! If you haven’t tried one yet, please do. :-)

I live near Washington, DC with my husband, his 92 year old stepdad, and the youngest of our four kids. We lived the military life for 20 years and loved it.
